Bahar Tercan received her PhD from the Medical Informatics Department at the Middle East Technical University in Turkey. Her research interests include applying statistical and machine learning methods to multiomics and drug response data for patient classification and personalized medicine. She is working on defining cell identities/states from single cell RNA-seq data and conversion of cancer cells into healthy cells.  She is currently working on cancer cell reprogramming, synthetic lethality and AML related projects.
